/ MY STORY

For as long as I can remember I have been a creative person.  In the past that creativity was found in scrapbooking, sewing, decorating for parties or in the kitchen making delicious meals for my family.  At the age of 50 I simultaneously discovered the mediums of glass and wood.  Through a very personal journey I was able to find the emotional, mental and physical space to explore these mediums and hone my skills in glass fusing and woodturning.  It has also been possible with the love and support of my family, Howard, Dani, Noah and Libby, as well as some very important people in my life. A few years ago, through my own art therapy, and for my enjoyment only, I created a piece (see inset) called "My Journey of Growth"  In the piece the orange line running from corner to corner represents my hard work in self exploration and the person who helped me get there.  It is because of that element that my logo and works will include some line or swipe of orange; either in the work itself or in my signature.  I am so excite to invite you along for the journey and to share my work with you.  Enjoy!
